Blood Order 1917
The Blood Order of 1917 issued to all Kitmaker participants that complete the build of two WWI aviation kits associating them with two known combatants of an air to air dogfight in April 1917. Note the rules and regs. One should be from the Allied powers and one from the Central powers. The Blood Order 1917 has a blood red field similar to the British Victoria Cross, but in this case noting the terrible cost of aircrews in April 1917. There is a white panel centrally located noting the pure intentions of these combatants to serve their countries. The German Iron Cross and British Cockade entwined, pins the middle of the award noting two of the combatants of this era. "Bloody April" though having been used elsewhere in history was a phrase that was first noted in the newspapers of late April 1917. When calculations had been made toward the end of the month on the Bitish aircrew losses. Supposedly it was first in print within a Saturday edition of the London Daily Times. Though similar to other modern society emblems it is not associated in any way to their membership and construes no support either actual or implied from their organization.

2. Five victories is typical for the allies. lets say 5 victories minimum.(Using the term "Ace" in the vernacular has different standards for each combatant nation.
3. The combat has to have taken place somewhere between April 1 - 30, 1917. Though it can be any two combatants that actually meet during that time period and yes that would entail two builds. But To make it easy...
